When Jolene graduated from high school she decided she wanted to take a break and come visit me in the Navy. I was stationed in Beeville Texas which is in South Texas. Our mother called me and said Jodie was on her way. Mother and dad put her on a Grayhound bus with a return ticket. I was in shock when she arrived. It took her 3 days and somewhere around 15 stops to get to Beeville. She said she loved the trip and had no problems at all. I can only imagine what an adventure that was for my little shy quiet sister. I never underestimated her after that. I new if she wanted to do something, she could. I love her and miss her so.

Paul, Nicole, Melanie & Mylinda I am very sorry for the loss of your sweet mom. You are all in my thoughts and though we haven't seen each other for many years I think of you often and love you all. I loved running into Aunt Jolene and the twins at Kmart, or Walmart - seemed like we'd always find each other there! My boys; Collin & Zach, loved seeing Aunt Jolene when she worked as the lunch lady @ Larsen Elementary. She used to hook Zach up! He felt so special having his Aunt there at the school XoXo. When he started Jr. High he'd call me after school and complain how they only gave him 3 Chicken Nuggets and 5 French Fries. She had him spoiled, school lunch was never the same!
Love you all!
