Lori Ann Woten passed away March 26, 2020 in Springville, Utah. Lori was born July 26, 1980 in Payson, Utah to Charlotte Jones Woten and Ira Dale Woten. She came into this world with lots of long dark hair that grew and grew and grew.

One of her 1st adventures with her love of animals was down south at the farm. Lori was still in diapers, thank heavens, when she got too close to a mother goose’s babies. Mama goose honked at her and grabbed onto Lori's diaper. Lori stopped and turned around and proceeded to lecture the mama. She also loved cats. Sometimes a little too much. When she was around three, she was overheard telling a cat that if it scratched her again she would sit on it. The kitten scratched her and Lori straddled it and sat down. Lori loved to dance and climb on anything that would hold her, even her big sis. When she was 5 or so and Dale and I weren't home, she figured out how to start our 4 -wheeler. She gunned it. Charles tried to chase and catch her but she wasn't stopping for nothing. She started writing poetry as a teenager and never stopped. She filled countless notebooks but rarely shared these inner most thoughts. One year when she was thirteen or so, she decided to surprise her mom with a cheesecake for her birthday, made from REAL cheddar cheese!

Despite struggling through life amid her many disabilities, she loved flying as a flight attendant and later received a degree as a pharmacy tech. She had an extremely warped sense of humor and was always open for a debate, taking the opposite side at times just for the fun of the debate, no matter the subject. She loved unicorns and fairies. She taught her children to love music by singing with them and
taking long drives on the back-roads with the country music blaring as loud as it could go. Above everything, she loved her children and turned into a fierce mama bear more than once. Lori loved her children with every fiber of her being. Lori is now flying high with the angels and is pain free in her body and soul. We will all miss her!

I will never forget the time when Lori took me to go see her horse. I can't remember the name of this horse, I remember how excited she was to show him to me. He was in this big field with another horse and she was telling me about how she remembered when we were kids and we would ride my horse together. We had good memories growing up and I will always cherish them.. I loved my cousin she was always so outgoing, outspoken, and a genuine fun person to be around. I will never forget when she let me dye her hair bright red, she was so fun to be with. I love you Lori!

I am so sorry that you lost Lori. She had such a bubbly personality. My son passed 3 1/2 years ago, and she and him dated briefly. She was also my nieces good friend, Miranda. She had a killer salsa that my husband loved. She brought him more, because he loved it so much. Hope you are all doing ok. You never stop missing them. It does get a little easier as time goes by. SO SORRY.

Lori was a wonderful aunt and loved her nephew, Bradley, as fiercely as anyone. I will always be grateful for the love she showed my son. Rest easy, Lori. -Chelsea
