I remember coming into Ruby's room to get her up for meals or take her to the bathroom. Every time I got her up she would say every single time, "ugh it's so cold!" The funny think about it was she was wearing a long sleeve shirt plus, a thick cover up over the top of it, long pants, socks, & the thing that made me crack up the most was that she would even wear her shoes to bed because her feet had got so cold. When I put her to bed she wanted a couple of blankets over her & she liked to have the blanket come clear up to her ears covering them because every inch of her got so cold! Ruby was 97 years old but, she sure didn't act like it! She could walk better than more than half of the residents at the nursing home. She was tough & she was so kind. Every time I left her room no matter what it was she always told me, "thank you so much." She truly was a sweetheart!
